It is always an honor to have one of our tabletop designs featured… we are especially excited that our latest tabletop design has been included on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style’s Inspiration Gallery. We, La Vie en Rose Design, conceptualized and executed this tabletop design using purple Phalaenopsis orchids to adorn crystal lampshades… while also cascading off the table. Also incorporating purple and lavender roses in mirrored vessels to add depth… to finish the table crystal Stemware, silver flatware and silver glass beaded chargers. Wildflower Linen supplied the beautiful table linens, overlay, napkins, chair covers and napkin rings. The lawn of the Tampa Museum of Art served for a geometric backdrop. We have some exciting news to share with you… we will be adding another location in the form of a 5,000 square foot floral production and decor design studio next month just one block South of International Plaza. This new studio will be for all our weddings and events. Our new studio will showcase our floral and decor rental items including tables, linens, chairs, lounge furniture, lighting and draping. All of our retail stores will continue to handle your everyday floral needs.

Here is a pic after the parking lot was redone… the whole interior has been gutted and with the stamped blueprints in hand… construction is underway. Everything from the new electric panels, lighting, plumbing, central HVAC, etc. are being customized to our needs… along with new offices, bathrooms, conference room, etc. Looking forward to the coming months!

We’re pleased to announce that we have been awarded Wedding Wire’s ‘Bride’s Choice Award’ for 2012. This is our third year in a row! We thank all our newlyweds for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day.

The WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards ™ recognizes the top local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards™ are awarded solely based on the reviews from over 1.2 million newlyweds. Awards are determined by a combination of four factors: Overall rating (quality), total number of reviews (quantity), review performace from 2011 (recency), and consistency of reviews from year to year (consistency). This year’s recipients represent the top 5% of WeddingWire’s vendor community, across all service categories and all regions throughout the US and Canada.

Elise and Ian’s gorgeous wedding found inspiration from the Asian culture. From Elise’s dress to the sushi chef to the dragon dancers and plate spinners, this wedding set the stage for a dramatic film. The beautiful landscape of Avila Golf and Country Club allowed for some gorgeous sweeping shots and the music chosen further enhanced the drama of the film. It was an amazing wedding with some really unique touches that gave the day a flair perfect for this artistic and lovely couple!

Sarah and Chad at the Powel Crosley Estate. Their wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty’s Blog (click here to view gallery). We handled the Design Concept and Production. This included all the Floral Designs, LED up Lighting, custom dance floor Monogram, Fabric Draping, Lounge Furniture, Linens, Chargers and Chairs. It was great working with Jamie of Confetti Events, who kept the whole day running smoothly… even when mother nature had other plans:) Aaron Bornfleth captured the wonderful images below… Enjoy!

Despite Alex hitting his head on the Jeep lift gate and being knocked out for a few minutes, this wedding is one of our favorites! Erica and Scott brought so much fun to their wedding day. They were so calm and cool on the day and just overjoyed about being married to each other. As you can see, the bride has a smile that any camera would love. Their beautiful nuptials took place at the Chapel by the Sea in Clearwater with a gorgeous reception following at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach. Check out this super fun couple and their gorgeous wedding!

Lauren and Robert’s enchanted evening at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites. We softly draped the entire perimeter of the room and added soft blue uplighting to set the ambience. We also added draping to frame the main focal points and a custom chandelier. We projected a poem behind the sweetheart table and monogram on the dance floor. Then we added our black pintuck table linens and silver chargers. A top the table stood our custom crystal candelabras filled with orchids, hygrengeas and roses. The finished height of the centerpieces from the floor was over eleven feet tall!

Our tablescape at Tampa’s Museum of Art fuses floral and decor… into a modern masterpiece. Floral and fabric intertwining… adding richness to the cold formed lucite slab. Crystal and glass play off one another to add firmness to the billowing flowers. Yet the orchids manage to break away… cascading to the floor in a race to free itself from the structure. Flames dance freely… flickering… flamboyantly. Just as you feel complete… one looks beyond the obvious… drawing the eye deeper… upwards to the reflected University of Tampa skyline. Enjoy!

Our bouquet and tablescape is on the cover and in the main feature of the latest Tampa Bay Weddings Magazine Summer 2011 Issue.
