Our tablescape at Tampa’s Museum of Art fuses floral and decor… into a modern masterpiece. Floral and fabric intertwining… adding richness to the cold formed lucite slab. Crystal and glass play off one another to add firmness to the billowing flowers. Yet the orchids manage to break away… cascading to the floor in a race to free itself from the structure. Flames dance freely… flickering… flamboyantly. Just as you feel complete… one looks beyond the obvious… drawing the eye deeper… upwards to the reflected University of Tampa skyline. Enjoy!

Our bouquet and tablescape is on the cover and in the main feature of the latest Tampa Bay Weddings Magazine Summer 2011 Issue.

We are fortunate to have such an amazing group of professionals working with us on this cover feature. All images were captured on medium format film by Gina Leigh. Credits below…

Magazine Photo Shoot

February 15th, 2011

Here are more photos we took behind the scenes from the Tampa Bay Weddings Magazine Spring 2011 Cover and Feature Photo Shoot. Wildflower Linen provided the chic table linens, napkins and chair covers.

A few more photos showing different combinations with these pieces… ghost chairs, lighting, glass beaded chargers, etc.

Below are three cakes we’ve decorated with flowers. They are featured in the Summer 2010 issue of Tampa Bay Weddings Magazine. The top right cake by Chocolate Pi is adorned with fresh green cymbidium orchids. The center cake has a fresh rose topper. The bottom right cake by Cakes by Nomeda has fresh roses on top then cascading down. The first two cakes are photographed by Limelight.

Tampa Bay Wedding Magazine… our floral bouquets are on the cover of the winter 2010 and spring 2010 issues. Tampa Bay Weddings Magazine shares their creative vision with us for the winter and spring covers… which allows our design aesthetic to shine. We are responsible for the decor which includes… wall fabric draping, led wall washing, ice chiavari chairs, damask linen, napkins with cattleya orchid blooms, gold beaded chargers, crystal stemware, votive candles and floral centerpieces. The floral bouquet makes a bold statement using only pink peonies of varying hues accented with crystal initials. All components from the decor, floral, model, gown, hair and makeup… bring the creative vision to life. Dave Alderman captures the image for the spring cover.

Spring 2010 Issue

For Winter our design is an all white hand tied bouquet with peonies, cymbidium orchids, phalaenopsis orchids, lilac and ostrich feathers… frosted with crystal studs. A crystal snowflake continues the theme while ice blue light illuminates the image. Nicholas captures the image for the winter cover. Let us know your thoughts on the covers…

August 2nd, 2009

Tampa Bay Weddings Magazine summer 2009 issue features our bridal bouquet on the cover. The bouquet… white cymbidium orchids, akito roses, pearl hyacinth, white dream tulips accompanied by crystal studded butterfly. For the fall 2009 issue… the bouquet… mango mini calla lilies, circus roses peppered with pave crystals. The six page fashion editorial showcases our bridal bouquets. Lowry Park Zoo’s pavillion provides an exotic backdrop. We enjoy the opportunity to watch an artist… Dave Alderman… plying his craft. It is always amazing the energy required to capture images.  The flower idea page features our flower rock garden. This magazine is a great local guide for ideas and offers information on bay area wedding professionals. Pick up your copy at Barnes and Noble, Publix or Borders booksellers. Let us know your thoughts on the covers.
